Clan Stewart Tartan Face Mask, Scottish Royal Family Heritage Face Covering, Celtic House of Stuart Plaid Ancestry Mask
The Clan Stewart is well-known for good reason. They are all over Scottish history as protectors and stewards (Stewart, steward? See the connection?) of Scotland for centuries. Their origin comes from a Breton steward who came to acquire lands and estates in England after the Norman conquest. His family, the Fitzalans, then came to be granted land from David I of Scotland where they become stewards of Scotland and thus where the name Stewart comes. They supported Robert the Bruce during the Scottish War of Independence. And Walter Stewart, 6th High Steward of Scotland married the Bruce's daughter, Majorie. It's from this line we eventually get the royal family House of Stuart who would come to be monarchs of Scotland, Ireland, and England. One of these monarchs, James II and VII, was deposed of the throne whereby the failed Jacobite Risings would come about to place James back on the throne. TL;DR, the Clan Stewart has a vast history in not only Scotland but the entire world. And would not be inaccurate to say that this clan has very well changed the course of history and the world in many ways over the centuries. So let's celebrate this history-changing family together with a Clan Stewart Tartan Face Mask today!
