Buffalo Plaid Face Mask Red Black Trim Check Checkered Protective Tartan Mask
Well, of course, we had to make a Buffalo Plaid Mask! Is it a traditional Scottish tartan? It isn't not actually. The "Buffalo Plaid" of the United States has its origins in the Clan Gregor of Scotland. Rob Roy McGregor himself, hailed the "Scottish Robin Hood" in some stories, even wore this tartan. Legend states that a descendant of Rob Roy brought the tartan to North America, a certain Jock McCluskey. A bounty hunting, fur trapping, gold mining, fierce and ferocious occasional lawman who would come to trade with the Native Americans after an anti-native movement led him to dare to champion their plight and cause because it reminded him of his own clan's horrific descent from well-respected nobles to downright criminals hunted by their country. So, basically, it turns out that Buffalo Plaid is more Scottish than you'd think. Huh. Who would've guessed? You really do learn something new every day.
